Leading Ayurveda practitioners, politicians and other personalities from various section of society gathered to pay their tribute to the Raj Vaidya Brihaspati Dev Triguna in a function organized in New Delhi. Several politicians including Minister of Delhi government Ramakant Goswami, Leader of Opposition in Delhi State Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, former Lok Sabha speaker and Minister Balram Jakhar and other were present on the occasion. Speakers recalled the contributions of Vaidya Brihaspati Dev Triguna to the welfare of Ayurveda and pay tribute to him.
On the occasion, Minister of Transport in Delhi government Ramakant Goswami said that no one can forget the contributions of Vaidya Triguna for the betterment of Ayurveda in the country and abroad. He done a lot for Ayurveda and it will better to say that his life was completely devoted for the welfare of Ayurveda and serving the needy.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi State Assembly, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra said that he was closed to his father and always kept blessing for him. He recalled the relationship with him and said that he was expert for pulse diagnose and contributed a lot for the betterment of Ayurveda. He claimed that the demise of Vaidya Triguna is major loss for the nation and especially for Ayurveda.
Former Lok Sabha Speaker and Minister Balram Jakhar recalled Vaidya Triguna and said that he shown a new dimension for life for various people. He shown the way to many with his vision.
Senior Vaidya S.K.Mishra said that Vaidya Triguna's contribution for the welfare of Ayurveda is difficult to forget. He has done for the betterment of Ayruveda not only in India but he has credit to flourish it from outside of the country.
It is noted that Raj Vaidya Brihaspati Dev Triguna passed away on January 1, 2013. He was 94 years old and recipient of both the second and third highest civilian awards Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan. He has done a lot for the flourish of Ayurveda and even trained various students for the same.
