There is good news for those who are concerned to oral hygiene. A US based company has come up with a new technology that will change our hygiene and the way we brush our teeth.
As per repots more than three fourth of American adults are suffering from gum disease of one or another kind- but the condition is completely avoidable.
Peer Blumenschein, CEO of Emmi-Tech, Inc., recently revealed to Fox News Health about a new technology that is transforming the way we brush our teeth - the Emmi-Dent Ultrasonic Toothbrush.
"It's a new device in the United States," Fox News quoted Peer Blumenschein, CEO of Emmi-Tech, Inc., as saying.
"And it's the first toothbrush which runs 100 percent on ultrasound, so the ultrasound cleans. You do not have to brush - so it's a 'no brushing' toothbrush," he added.
This toothbrush is designed after the average dental teeth cleaning and it is equipped with the devices with ultrasonic power to clean tartar. But contrary to conventional cleanings, the Emmi-Dent brush uses microwaves with considerably less power.
"It's just enough to kill the bacteria in your mouth - in your gums, on the teeth - so that you don't destroy the teeth or the enamel and basically don't harm your oral system," Blumenschein has been quoted as saying.
