Powered by Ajinkya Rahane's explosive 98 runs inning Rajasthan Royals beat Kings XI Punjab by 31 run in a match of IPL in Jaipur on Friday. Rajasthan Royals made 191 run but the rival team could make 160 runs in 20 over loosing 9 wickets.

In the match played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium Ajinkya Rahane's stole the show with his 66 balls 98 runs inning that includes 16 boundaries and a single six. Rahane fall 2 short of century on the bowling of James Faulkner (2/41).

Skipper Rahul Dravid (28 off 24) gave Rahane good company and their partnership yielded 77 runs off just 57 balls.

Chasing the huge total, Kings XI Punjab could make only 160 runs in allotted 20 overs. The highest scorer for the team was Mandeep Singh who made 34 off 25 balls.
