Datawind, the company who first launched cheap Aakash tablets, has now launched two more low-cost tablets named Ubislate 7+ and Ubislate 7c in India. While Ubislate 7c boasts a capacitive touch screen and is priced at Rs.3, 999 its sibling Ubislate 7+ has a resistive touchscreen and is priced at Rs. 2, 999.
Ubislate 7+ has an internal flash storage of 2 GB while 7c has an internal flash storage of 4 GB. However, both the tablets have a 256MB RAM and the internal memory of both can be expandable up to 32 GB using a micro SD card.
Other than this both tablets have same features and specifications.
Ubislate 7+ and 7c operates on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Both the tablets sport a 7.0-inch display with a support of 840x480 pixel resolution. They generate their power from an 800 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. They also have a graphics accelerator and HD video processor. Both these tablets have multi touch screen.
Both these tablets have a single USB 2.0 port. They come with GPRS and Wi-Fi a/b/g.
Both run on a 3200 mAh battery that gives them 3 hours of battery life.
Both the tablets are launched in the market in one color: Black.
The tablets have phone functionality that is they have SIM support.
Once the pre-booking orders are completed these tablets will be available in the market most probably in the end of May this year.
