Yesterday match between Chennai Super Kings and Pune Warriors saw the clash of former captain of India and present captain of India in which the latter came out victorious.
Sourav Ganguly won the toss and chose to field first and his bowlers did pretty well in restricting CSK to a gettable 164 but it was the Pune's batsmen that led their captain down. None of the Warrior batsmen made a big contribution and at the end Pune fell short of 13 runs.
CSK put a tremendous show in the field by taking some sharp catches and stopping few runs that ultimately made the difference. CSK marked a 13 runs win over Pune Warriors in the 24th match of IPL 5 played in M.A. Chidambaram Stadium yesterday.
Kulasekra was given the man of the match for his superb performance with ball, he took 2 wickets in his two overs and gave away just 10 runs with an economy of 5.
