India, which in November has tested India's medium of long range missile Agni-IV, is set to do its longer range version Agni-V in the next month.
According to Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Chief Dr. V K Saraswat, 'The Agni-V will be tested sometime in the middle of April. The exact date has not been fixed, though.'
After testing this inter-continental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) that ranges 5,000-km, India will join an elite group of nations such as the US, Russia and China.
He was speaking at a press conference at the defence exposition going on in New Delhi.
Saraswat said the Agni-V will be close to the American ICBMs.
