Nick Cannon, who is going to renew wedding vows with wife Mariah Carey next month, has said in lighter vein that he is renewing his marriage to prove to himself that their marriage is "real".
The 'America's Got Talent' host tied knot with the singer on the beach next to her home in the Bahamas on April 30 2008. From then on, the couple has been renewing their wedding vows every year.
Cannon, 31, says that the ceremony helps him appreciate their union more.
"We get married every year; it's our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real!" Contactmusic reported him saying Life and Style magazine.
The celebration for this event is going to be bigger this year, as their twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe are turning one on the same day, so the babies will be part of the festivities, though Carey and Cannon are also keeping aside quality time for each other.
"It's gonna be big. So it's a family day.
"We'll celebrate with them during the day and just the two of us at night," he has been quoted as saying.
