WSH: Delhi Wizards crushes Mumbai Marines

Delhi Wizards marked a crushing defeat over Mumbai Marines in a must win game played yesterday in Dhyan Chand National Stadium of Delhi.

With this win of 2-1 over Marines, Wizards is now at fifth position in point table with 13 points in 9 games they have played.

Vikramjeet gave Wizards the initial start by converting a penalty corner in goal in the 13^th minute of the game. Two minutes later, Ajmer of Marines equaled the score by a fine goal and kept the Marines hope alive.

Shakeel Abbasi, captain of Wizards, also joined the list of goal scorer when he struck the goal in 35^th minute. This goal went on to become the winning goal for Wizards at the end of the game.

Marine fought hard and after that and were real unlucky when a goal was disallowed in the 69^th minute after referee referred the video.

"We played well today specially in the defense and executed our plan well. Our left and right combination was great and it helped in creating number of chances", said Abbasi in an interview held after the match.
