In a major attack at least 10 people died in Pakistan on Saturday night when Taliban militants stormed an airport after ramming their explosives-laden vehicle into its outer wall. Militants targeted the Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar on previous night around 8.30 p.m.
According to local media reports, the militants at the airport fired five rockets and two of them hit the runaway. They were attacked on the target with fully preparation.
Sources claims that tive attackers were among the dead and over 40 others were injured.
All international and domestic flights were cancelled following the attack.
According to Army, the attack was in response to a recent military operation in the area.
The airport authorities said all their assets were safe.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf condemned the attack.
