Get ready to be punished more as according to reports, the price of cooking gas has been hiked by Rs. 11.42 per cylinder.
This hike has been done on the subsidized cylinders, means now you will have to spend more on purchasing first six cylinders per year.
The news reports say that this hike has been done due to raising the commission to dealers.
The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) has also increased the price on non-subsidized cylinders by Rs. 127 per cylinder.
Last week, oil companies fixed the price for a non-subsidised 14.2 kg cylinder at Rs. 767.
After this price hike, the new price of this cylinder will cost Rs.894 per cylinder in Delhi.
According to Oil Ministry, "Oil prices are likely to change every month and they may rise or fall depending on international prices."
An industry official said they would update price changes on their websites.
