Paying tributes to the greatest sage of all times Maharishi Valmiki, who authored the timeless epic Ramayana, Dheeraj Tokas, Smt Parmila Dheeraj Tokas and Maharishi Valmiki Sewa Samiti called upon the people to celebrate this sacred occasion.
The occasion was celebrated with great enthusiasm; a cultural program was organized at MCD Park in Sec 2, where students with high distinctions and prominent personalities from the Valmiki Society were facilitated by the Chief Guest Sh. Dheeraj Tokas and Smt. Parmila Dheeraj Tokas.
Rajesh Goyar was facilitated with "Valmiki Shiromani Award". There were more than 7000 people from the RK Puram Assembly are who attended the event.
Parmila Dheeraj Tokas, Councillor from Ward No: 166 Chairperson Mahila Kalyan & Bal Vikas Committee SDMC greeted the gathering and exhorted them to follow the teachings of Maharishi Valmiki and to carve out an ideal society regardless of caste, color and creed. She also said he was a great example for people who want o reform their ways.
Collectively rising above the parochial consideration of castes, Kartar Rathore, Jeet Ram, Sunil Kumar, Rajender Rathore, Dinesh Nakwal, Ved Chaddha, Rajender Singh, Nanak Chandra, Kailash Rathore, Ravi Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Adesh Kumar, Manohar, Arun Kumar, Ajit Pardhan, Bheem Singh, Raj Kumar Pardhan, Mukhiya & members of the Munirka Village, Sec 4 RWA were a host of prominent people from different walks of life from RK Puram Assembly Area, who were invited to participate in the Oct. 29 event.
