London, July 10(ANI): A 21-year old girl from Sunderland, Georgia Ford was forced to delete her twitter account after being bombarded with mocking rants for asking: "Is Wimbledon always held in London?"
Ford posted the question online as Andy Murray lost the final on Sunday, and it was retweeted seven thousand times.
"The dumbest thing I've ever heard," The Sun quoted a twitter user, as responding to Ford's question.
Ford later tried to clarify her stance, saying that she thought Wimbledon was just the name of the competition and it moved each year, but the poor girl was harassed by the notorious Twitter mob, which forced her delete her account. (ANI)
