Washington, May 1 (ANI): Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has closed the gap with President Barack Obama during the post week, according to poll.
According to a Gallup Poll, Romney is slightly ahead of Obama, although both are statistically tied.
According to the poll, 47 percent favour Romney, while 46 percent favour Obama
Last week, Obama had a seven-point lead with 50 percent favoring him over 43 percent favoring Romney, The Politico reports.
Gallup has conducted over 8,000 interviews since April 11, when it began a daily tracking of the 2012 presidential race.
"The conclusion is that the presidential race appears tight, but with some fluidity," Gallup editor in chief Frank Newport said. (ANI)
