Islamabad, Apr 27 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, while chairing a special federal cabinet meeting after his conviction, remarked that politics was a "horror movie" which is only for adults and not the weak.
Gilani said the Pakistan People's Party has always stood by the constitution and would continue to do so. "Pakistan's future would have been different had the law of necessity not prevailed in the case of Maulvi Tamizuddin," the Daily Times quoted him, as saying.
Gilani, who was greeted at the meeting by thumping of desks by his colleagues, thanked them for their overwhelming support. He noted, "Politics has lots of ups and downs. It has a lot of problems. It is a long way and a hard way." (ANI)
