Moscow, April 25 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A special subway train will be launched here Thursday to mark the 85th birth anniversary of Colombian Nobel laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
The train will be launched at 11.00 a.m. on the Molodezhnaya station and will run on Moscow subway's Filevskaya line for six months.
Its eight cars will feature quotes from well-known works of the 1982 winner of Nobel Prize in Literature, such as "One hundred years of solitude" and No one writes to the colonel", as well as his early poems. Colombian Ambassador to Moscow Rafael Amador has started the initiative.
