London, Apr 20 (ANI): Tulisa has broken her silence about the release of her sex tape for the first time, admitting that she doesn't regret the explicit video because it made her who she is today.
Last month, a sex video starring Tulisa was released online, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend MC Ultra, and the singer decided to face it head on.
She released her own video, admitting that she did film the clip, but she was "devastated" and "heartbroken" that it had been released.
"When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love and trust, you never imagine for one minute that footage may at any point be shared with the rest of the UK," she had said in the video.
And now the 23-year-old insists that she has no regrets about the situation.
"I could sit all day long saying I wish I'd never done this or met that person but at the end of the day, with the position I'm in, I can't exactly complain," the Mirror quoted her as telling Top of the Pops magazine.
"Everything's taken me to the place that I'm in and made me the person I am. It just makes you stronger, doesn't it?" she said.
And on why she dealt with the sex tape so boldly with her YouTube confession, Tulisa said: "Don't just ignore it - directly deal with it. Everyone always feels it's best to ignore things and leave it, but I don't believe that.
"People are always going to judge you and that's fine - I couldn't care less - but let them judge you on the truth.
"If no one else is telling the truth, you're the only one who's going to. If people choose to believe you or don't believe you, then whatever. That's their problem.
"Let the rest go over your head. The haters are ants to me!" she added. (ANI)
