Madonna 'unhappy about daughter Lourdes smoking habit'

New York, Apr 19 (ANI): Madonna has revealed that she was not happy when she saw pictures of her daughter Lourdes puffing on a cigarette in NYC.

The 53-year-old singer, who's always been a rebel in her own right, said during the 'Today' show that these days she's more concerned with cracking down on her daughter's bad behaviour than creating a ruckus of her own.

In the interview, the Material Girl admitted that she has not been as tough on her kids as she should be.

"I wasn't very happy but honestly, I don't think I'm as tough as I should be," the New York Daily news quoted her as saying.

"I think I need to be maybe tougher. It's hard. Every day is a negotiation. But cigarette smoking I'm not very fond of - for anyone," she said.

Lourdes was snapped by paparazzi in New York late last month sneaking a cigarette while hanging out with pals.
