Hong Kong, April 18 (Xinhua-ANI)): World No.1 men's table tennis player Ma Long of China thinks it is a good opportunity for feel the Olympic atmosphere in the Asian Zone qualifying tournament.
The Asian Zone qualifying tournament, which lasts from Thursday and Friday, will see top seven finishers going to London. The tournament will be easy for the Asian Games champion, who has taken the world top ranking since last October. Winning the qualification means the 24-year-old Chinese will go to his first Olympic Games.
"I hope that I can feel the Olympic atmosphere before the Olympics," said Ma.
"The opponents are not very strong, but I will always do my best in every match," said Ma. "This is the closest distance between me and the Olympic Games and it gives me some pressure, and also some excitement." (Xinhua-ANI)
