London, Apr 13(ANI): Controversial Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola has claimed he has sorted out the differences with City manager Roberto Mancini, and now everything is peaceful between them.
Balotelli's future was placed in substantial doubt following his bizarre indiscipline in Sunday's match against Arsenal, but following talks with Mancini and a swift public apology, the situation has calmed.
Mancini had said on Sunday that he would 'probably' try to sell Balotelli this summer but, but according to the Raiola, there is now no question of him leaving.
"I have spoken to Mario and to Mancini. There was a tense time between them but now all is calm. Mario has to grow and he will do so in Manchester. Manchester City has no intention of selling him, on the contrary, they want to grow together," The Telegraph quoted Raiola, as saying.
"He has always stated that he is happy in Manchester and finding his balance. Of course, that balance is lost when things don't go well. Mario has understood his mistakes in every sense. Of course, he misses Italy and it's only normal as his family and his friends are there," he added.I think that once Mario decides to return to Italy, there will be a big derby for his services. But right now is not the time, perhaps in one or two years' time," he said.
Balotelli is under contract with City until 2015, and Mancini has already warned him that he must mend his ways if he is to maximise his obvious potential, and secure a future at the Etihad Stadium. (ANI)
