John Cleese recalls school bullies teasing him with cries of 'cheese'

London, Apr 12 (ANI): John Cleese has revealed that he was a victim of bullying in his school days.

The 72-year-old insisted that he experienced teasing about his monicker, and his manhood, during his time at Clifton College.

"I went to a private school. My parents didn't have much money and they spent what they did on giving me a private education," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

"I can still recall walking up the stairs to the matron's room where I had to have a basic medical examination and the boys shouting, 'Cheese, cheese, cheese' after me," he added.

The Monty Python star also revealed that on the way to the changing rooms they asked about his privates. (ANI)
