Oslo, Apr 11 (ANI): Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik, who confessed to killing 77 people in a bombing and shooting rampage, will tell the court in his upcoming trial that he regrets he 'didn't go further,' according to his lawyer.
"He won't only defend it, he will also regret that he didn't go further," his lawyer said.
Meanwhile, Breivik was deemed to be sane in a second psychiatric evaluation, The Daily Mail reports.
According to a statement by the Oslo District Court, Breivik, 33, was found not to be psychotic and therefore accountable for his actions.
"Our conclusion is that he was not psychotic at the time of the actions of terrorism and he is not psychotic now," a report by psychiatrist Terje Toerrissen said.
That conflicted with an earlier assessment, which found Breivik psychotic both during and after the attacks, and diagnosed him as a paranoid schizophrenic.
The court will take both psychiatric reports into account during the trial.
Breivik has confessed to setting off the bomb in downtown Oslo, killing eight, and opening fire at a youth camp outside the Norwegian capital, killing 69.
He, however, denies criminal guilt, saying the attacks were necessary in what he calls a civil war against Islam in Europe. (ANI)
