Lahore, Apr 9(ANI): Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid has expressed fears that suicide attacks will resume if the NATO supply routes were re-opened.
"Suicide bombs will resume if Nato supply line was reopened and Punjab will have to suffer worst damage as a result of it," The News quoted Rashid, as saying.
He predicted that NATO supply routes will re-open shortly and alleged all those concerned have given approval to it, but were giving contrary statements in the media.
Referring to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari's recent visit to India, he said the event was projected in a way as if it had resolved all outstanding issues between both sides.
He alleged that the efforts were underway to convert Pakistan into a state like Ethiopia. (ANI)
