Pak tennis star Aisamul Haq appointed Pak Red Crescent Society's youth ambassador

Islamabad, Apr 9(ANI): Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has selected top Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul- Haq as its youth ambassador.

The announcement was made during the National Youth and Volunteer Camp titled "Promotion of Social Inclusion, Safe Living and Culture of Non-Violence and Peace", which is being attended by volunteers from across the country.

Aisam vowed to spare no effort in serving the vulnerable segment of society.

"Today is the happiest day of my life, as now I can be called in anytime to perform my duties, which would indeed be a great honour," The Express Tribune quoted him, as saying.

He also visited the camp site, where he was given a briefing on volunteers' activities.

PRCS Secretary General Brigadier (retired) Dr Mahboob Sardar welcomed Aisam-ul Haq to the society, saying that he would definitely act as a role model for volunteers, who are the backbone of the society. (ANI)
