London, Apr 8 (ANI): Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney has admitted that he is only focused on winning the title for his team, and is relishing the exciting title race.'
"The title race is on your mind all the time and you're thinking about it every day", The Daily Star quoted Rooney, as saying.
"The games usually come thick and fast around this time of the campaign, so you're always thinking about the next match and looking at the league table all the time. It's brilliant, though and a very exciting time," he added.
Rooney, who scored 29 goals so far in the current season, is confident of beating Queen Park Rangers believes that his team could go eight points clear at the top on Sunday, if Manchester City loses to Arsenal today.
He revealed that the team certainly gets a lift every time City drops points, he added: "It does give you a real boost when you see your rivals drop points. We just need to keep winning to ensure we take advantage of that, if and when it happens." (ANI)
