Mumbai, April 8 (IANS) Social crusader Anna Hazare travelled from his native village Ralegan-Siddhi Mumbai for inaugurating an exhibition of photographs taken by the driver of a TV OB (outside broadcast) van.
The exhibition showcases 67 photographs taken by Vishal Yadav, 32, on Hazare's nationwide anti-corruption movement last year.
Entitled 'Anna Hazare - Ralegan-Siddhi to Delhi,' Yadav took the pictures while driving an Aaj Tak crew covering Hazare's movement from its inception in his home village to the national capital, earning him accolades worldwide.
'It is a humble tribute to a great man by a poor man like me. Not only did Anna (Hazare) extend me full co-operation during my efforts spanning nearly a year, but also came down to Mumbai only to inaugurate the exhibition,' an elated Yadav told IANS.
The expo will be held at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh premises at Azad Maidan, south Mumbai, till next Saturday, he said.
Speaking briefly on the occasion, Hazare urged the people to remain ever vigil and continue the crusade against corruption.
'We have to achieve progress in the country and for that, reining in corruption is a must for our democracy,' Hazare reiterated.
