New York, Apr 2 (ANI): Keira Knightley has revealed that when it comes to her film 'A Dangerous Method', her fellow countrymen in England ask only about the spanking scenes in the movie.
When director David Cronenberg asked if people can let go of her as a celebrity personality and experience her performances, the actress said she wasn't sure.
"I think I'd be quite surprised if they could . . . I know with 'A Dangerous Method' people liked the spanking an awful lot. But I'm not quite sure," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying in Interview magazine.
"It's weird, though, with the spanking. When we were in Venice, I didn't get asked about it once . . . But in England, it was pretty much the only thing I got asked about. I'm not quite sure what that says about the English," she said.
Knightley also said that she wants to get lost in the magic of movies just like everyone else.
"I hate knowing too much when I'm going to the cinema.
"I don't want to know that the actor has just gone through a divorce. I don't want to know that the person is an alcoholic," she added. (ANI)
