New Delhi, March 28 (IANS) The vexed issue of carving a separate Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh continued to rock the Lok Sabha for the third consecutive day Wednesday, leading to repeated adjournments.
The Lok Sabha was earlier adjourned till 12 noon and later till 2 p.m. after Congress members from Andhra Pradesh and MPs of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi raised slogans for a separate state.
Soon after, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called Home Minister P. Chidambaram for a discussion.
The Lok Sabha has been witnessing disruptions over Telangana since Monday.
