Washington, Mar 24 (ANI): US Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum took a shot at chief rival Mitt Romney, suggesting that that it would better to stick with Barack Obama for four more years than some "Etch A Sketch" president.
During a campaign in San Antonio on Thursday, the former Pennsylvania senator repeated his claim that Romney is not conservative enough, and only he offers Americans a clear alternative.
"You win by giving people a choice. You win by giving people the opportunity to see a different vision for our country, not someone who's just going to be a little different than the person in there," The New York Daily News quoted Santorum, as saying.
"If they're going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk of what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate for the future," Santorum added.
Santorum was referring to Romney's latest campaign gaffe, in which the ex-Massachusetts governor's top aide, Eric Fehrnstrom, compared the campaign shift from the primary battle to the general election to an Etch A Sketch. (ANI)
