London, Mar 20 (ANI): Top footballers love to own extravagant pads and slick mansions with all the modern conveniences, but when they move clubs they don't usually have the time to find a house themselves.
That's where Louisa Allen comes in. She set up a firm called Players Relocation with her partner, Cambridge United goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt, 33, which helps footballers find the perfect properties.
"Danny had great contacts in the game and I had a background in property so it made sense. It's a bit of a closed shop. Players get my number from each other," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
"They phone up and give me a brief and I find a set of properties for them to view. Typically they want new-builds without too much land so they don't have much work. It has good security and a 20-minute drive to the training ground.
"A hot tub is always a favourite. But it's my job to help the players focus on the really important things like location," she said.
The properties Allen sources are always upwards of half-a-million pounds with the most expensive she found costing 1.75 million pounds.
A few players want to build their own home, like Wayne and Coleen Rooney who splashed 4.5 million pounds on a personalised pile in Prestbury, Cheshire.
However, most players want the ease of finding somewhere quickly "especially if they have to change club fast."
Allen has found houses for around 50 footballers and has even helped some set up property portfolios.
"I think more footballers should do that when they start making good money, so they've got something to fall back on when they finish playing," she added. (ANI)
