London, Mar.17 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney feels that his recent goal scoring form proves he is now a more consistent player.
The 26-year-old striker, who has 10 strikes in his last seven games, was quoted by The Sun, as saying: "It's football - sometimes you score and sometimes you don't."
He added: "It's important you try to get that consistency, which I feel I have over the last three or four years compared to when I started playing."
Manager Alex Ferguson has challenged him to break the 40-goal barrier before the end of the club's Premier League campaign. He is currently on 30. (ANI)
