Lucknow, Mar 14 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister-designate and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday said his cabinet would include youth as well as experienced people.
"The cabinet will include experienced people and new people will be given an opportunity and we will try that the representatives of every section of the society to be within it," Akhilesh told reporters here.
He further assured the youth of the state that they would be provided employment as soon as his party forms the government.
"We want to assure the youth who are registering for the employment allowance that the Samajwadi Party will fulfill its promise when it forms the government," added Akhilesh.
Commenting on the Union Railway Budget that was presented in the parliament today, he said that the fares ought to have been revised after taking into account the considerations vis-?-vis the commoners.
"As far as the railway fares are concerned, the problem of the poor people should be borne in mind and duly addressed," added Yadav.
The Samajwadi Party emerged victorious in Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous state, with a comprehensive majority, securing 224 seats in the 403-member assembly, up 127 from its tally of 97 in the 2007 polls.
Akhilesh Yadav has been credited with reviving the party's image through his earnest approach and campaigns that won over the state's voters with promises of development. (ANI)
