Dehradun, Mar 7 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said the verdict of the Uttarakhand assembly polls was not in accordance with the expectations of the party.
"In Uttarakhand, the election results have not lived up to our expectations. But we respect the decision of the people," he told the media here.
Singh further said the main motive behind visiting the state was to assess the current political situation.
"We have come here to review the political situation and no possibility can be ruled out," he added.
BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Ananth Kumar discussed the future course of action of the BJP to stake claim to form the government in the state.
The verdict of Uttarakhand assembly polls has thrown up an indecisive mandate. Both Congress and the BJP are in the line to form the government in the state.ongress with 32 seats has a one-seat advantage over the BJP.
