Washington, Mar 6(ANI): Google is reportedly working on the "Key Lime Pie", the next dessert-themed update for its mobile operating system Android.
The Key Lime Pie could be available to consumers next year, The Telegraph quoted the technology news website, The Verge, as saying.
The most recently released version, 4.0, is code named "Ice Cream Sandwich".
It was released in October alongside the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the latest in Google's own flagship line of handsets, which it uses to promote major updates to Android.
Android's first version, Ice Cream Sandwich was designed to work on both smartphones and tablets.
An earlier release, code named "Honeycomb" had created separate software for each class of device.
Google is also expected to introduce a version of Android called "Jelly Bean".
It had hinted at the release at the Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona by serving bowls of jelly beans on its stand. (ANI)
