Defeated Indian cricketers return home from Australia

New Delhi/Mumbai, Mar.4 (ANI): After completing a disastrous tour of Australia, the Indian cricket team, barring a couple of players, returned to India this morning.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Praveen Kumar and Rahul Sharma arrived at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport from Brisbane via Singapore.

Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan and Umesh Yadav arrived at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, while off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin arrived in Chennai on Saturday.

During the tour, the team won just three matches, tied one and lost four during the Commonwealth Bank tri-series, which had Sri Lanka and Australia as the two other participating teams. (ANI)
