Bangalore, Feb 18 (ANI): Veteran anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare was discharged from Jindal Naturopathy Centre in Bangalore on Saturday after successfully undergoing treatment for just over two weeks.
Hazare was transferred to the Jindal Naturopathy Centre in Bangalore after undergoing treatment at the Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana for persistent cough and backache.
A bemused Hazare, sitting on the back of a shuttle with close aide Arvind Kejriwal outside the airport told mediapersons that he had fully recovered to continue his fight against corruption.
"Now I am completely healthy and ready to fight corruption again," said Hazare.
In December last year Hazare had called off his three-day hunger strike in Mumbai to press for a strong and an effective Ombudsman Bill after suffering from acute bronchitis and osteoporosis.
Hazare has been at loggerheads with the government over the Ombudsman Bill, an anti-corruption legislation, for which the Gandhian activist went on hunger strikes in April, August and December. (ANI)
