I have been unlucky in love, says George Clooney

Washington, Feb 17 (ANI): George Clooney admits he has had his share of heartache, despite his reputation as a super-confident ladies' man.

He has revealed that one of his ex-girlfriends had cheated on him and left him for another guy.

"I've been) left for someone; all those things. And it was sometimes a surprise," Contactmusic quoted him as telling The Hollywood Reporter.

"The most painful was when I kept trying to get (one woman) back. But we all make dumb mistakes," he said.

Clooney, who split from Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis last year and is currently dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler, also admited he gets lonely when romances turn sour.

"I have been infinitely more alone in a bad relationship; there's nothing more isolating," he said. (ANI)
