I deserve praise for getting up and going to work, says Petra Ecclestone

London, Fri, 17 Feb 2012 ANI

London, Feb 17 (ANI): Petra Ecclestone has claimed that "no one ever talks about the good in me," as she revealed that she does a normal 9-5 job despite not needing the money.

The 23-year-old budding fashion designer said that she understood she was privileged but that she still deserved praise for having the willpower to get up "and do something" in the morning.

"Everyone always talks - because I'm rich and I'm privileged, and I understand that," the telegraph quoted her as telling W magazine.

"At the end of the day, I don't need to work, and I think it's good that I have the drive and willpower to get up and do something in the morning even though I don't need to," she said.

The younger daughter of F1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone spoke out as she gave the magazine a tour of her recently renovated 52 million pounds Los Angeles home, which she shares with husband James Stunt, 30. (ANI)
