London, Feb 12 (ANI): Christine Bleakley, who recently launched DVD's on how to stay in shape after her sister lost weight, has now revealed what she eats and drinks during a filming day for 'Dancing on Ice'.
According to Nigel Denby, a dietician, lighter eating as the day goes on saves calories, but it could be the TV presenter's downfall when it comes to her sweet tooth. It's a tall order to keep going on a jacket potato and cheese for five hours. Adding protein-rich baked beans to her spud and snacking on unsalted nuts or a fruit smoothie would help.
"9am I generally follow the motto of eating like a king, then a prince, then a pauper, as the day goes on, and need a good breakfast when I'm presenting Dancing on Ice. I cook up caramelised cherry tomatoes on toast with grilled bacon and two poached eggs, plus coffee," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
"11.30am Leave for the studio. There are bananas around but I do like a chocolatey snack with a big mug of tea. Start with a script reading.
"3.30pm After rehearsing both shows I scoot into hair and make-up and hoof down a baked potato with cheese.
"6pm On air. I sip my way through a bottle of water when I'm off-camera.
"8.30pm We've got an hour before the live results show. The audience all get doughnuts so I pinch two for a snack.
"10pm Glass of white wine in the bar with the crew.
"1am I'm ravenous when I get home but thankfully there's a little platter of parma ham, hummus and carrot sticks waiting for me," she added. (ANI)
