Gary Lineker's wife tells him to stop tweeting because 'nobody cares'

London, Feb 11 (ANI): Gary Lineker's wife Danielle has revealed that she constantly begs her hubby to stop tweeting.

The former footballer and his 28-year-old model spouse told 'Day and Night' at the launch of west London restaurant Chakra how their views on their own importance differ.

"I'm not on Twitter or Facebook," the Daily Express quoted Danielle as saying.

"Who wants to hear what I've got to say! Unless you're Stephen Fry or Jonathan Ross why bother?

"Gary's on it all the time. I say the same to him - put it down, nobody cares," she said.

However, the man in question said that he's quickly learning the rules of the social networking website.

"I've only been on Twitter for about two weeks. I suppose it's my way to drag myself into the modern age"

"You've got to watch what you say though. I don't tweet when drunk or angry! I don't follow [footballer] Joey Barton but I do follow [comedian] Jimmy Carr, he's funny!" he said. (ANI)
