'The Rock' plans switch to politics when 'time is right'

London, Feb 10 (ANI): Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has revealed that he is considering a move into politics.ohnson, 39, said in an interview that he has aspirations of a political career when the time is right.

"Right now the best way that I can impact the world is through entertainment," the Sun quoted the wrestler as telling Moviefone.com.

"One day, and that day will come, I can impact the world through politics.

"The great news is that I am American, therefore I can become President," he said.

Johnson would not be the first wrestler to turn to the area of politics. Jesse "The Body" Ventura became the Governor of Minnesota in 1999 and served one term, while recently Linda McMahon, wife of WWE supremo Vince, failed in an attempt to run for Senate in Connecticut. (ANI)
