Secret FBI dossier reveals late Apple CEO Jobs of being drug addict, lair

Washington, Fri, 10 Feb 2012 ANI

Washington, Feb 10(ANI): A secret dossier compiled by the FBI on late Apple founder Steve Jobs has showed his friends accusing him of taking drugs, being a liar and failing to support his family.

The 191-page dossier based on interviews with his friends and former colleagues by special agents, was drawn up after Jobs was being considered for a "sensitive" post in the White House's President's Export Council in 1991.

A long-term friend had described him as a "deceptive individual who is not completely forthright and honest".

"He stated that Mr Jobs will twist the truth and distort reality in order to achieve his goals," The Telegraph quoted the report, as saying.

Jobs was also accused of being high-handed and failing to respond to requests for interviews for three weeks.

"Mr Jobs' secretary informed SA [special agent] ... that Mr Jobs was unavailable for an interview for three weeks. Mr Jobs could not even see SA ... for one hour," the report added.

Several individuals questioned Jobs' honesty and his integrity.

His former employer stated that during the late 1960s and early 1970s, "Mr Jobs may have experimented with illegal drugs, having come from that generation,"

Another section of the report detailed a bomb threat against Jobs while he was working at Apple in 1985 but added that he was unconcerned about the threat.

The file was released by the FBI following a request under the Freedom of Information Act. (ANI)
