Azam Khan accuses Congressmen being eunuchs

Allahabad, Fri, 03 Feb 2012 ANI

Allahabad/Faizabad, Feb 3 (ANI): Poll politics touched a dirtier low after senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan has accused the Congress party as a eunuch community.

Addressing a public meeting here, Khan said: " If Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi can gather all the eunuchs in the world and a damsel is provided for them they still can't give birth to a single child. Just like all the eunuchs in the world can't bear children similarly, Congress dream of forming or helping in government in Uttar Pradesh is no more than eunuch like politics."

Meanwhile in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati slammed the Congress party for trying to use divisive politics to garner votes in the forthcoming elections.

"You all need to be very careful of the conspiracies of the Congress party for it is trying to play the politics of 'divide and rule' as used by the British," said Mayawati.

Polls in Uttar Pradesh are being viewed as an opportunity for major parties to re-establish their foothold in the country's fifth largest and most populous state.

Polls in Uttar Pradesh will be conducted between February 8 and March 3, and the counting will take place on March 6.

The polls will elect a new 403-member state assembly in March. The poll results will broadly indicate trends for the 2014 general elections. (ANI)
