Peter Andre says Katie Price pleaded for reconciliation

Washington, Jan 31 (ANI): Peter Andre has claimed that his ex-wife Katie Price begged him to get back together with her but he refused.

The former couple - who raise Harvey, nine, Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four, together - divorced in 2009 and although they recently decided to try to maintain an amicable relationship for the sake of their children, Andre says it was ruined when he didn't accede to Price's request.

"We decided to bury the hatchet and I was so happy we were talking about putting the kids first. But sadly it only lasted about a month. I don't think it can ever happen again. I can't be friends with her. It's sad that three years on, the bitterness is still there," Contactmusic quoted him as telling heat magazine.

"She may want me back, she did 100 per cent ask me to get back together with her romantically. She wanted us to spend Christmas and New Year together but I won't ever go there. All the stories about us getting back together are not true. I won't ever go back," he said. (ANI)
