Washington, Jan 30 (ANI): A Russian media company is suing a US based management firm for refund of 1.5 million dollars it allegedly paid to hire Lady Gaga for their upcoming event.
The media firm ZAO filed the legal docs in Miami, claiming it paid the staggering amount to book Gaga for the upcoming MUZ-TV awards to be held in June, but the deal fell through and their money hasn't been retuned as yet.
According to the lawsuit, ZAO attempted to book Gaga through a Miami-based management firm called NEW, which claimed it had the necessary Gaga connections to persuade the pop star for the summer appearance, TMZ reported.
But ZAO claims NWE was simply bluffing and ultimately they failed in their attempt to secure the singer.
ZAO also claimed that it has repeatedly asked for its money back, but NWE has refused and have even siphoned off 300,000 dollars from the 7-figure sum as a broker fee.
ZAO is suing NWE for its full money back, plus damages. (ANI)
