London, Jan 26 (ANI): Hollywood actress Jada Pinkett-Smith is joining forces with Simon Cowell, in his hunt for the world's greatest DJs.
The 52-year-old music mogul is ditching his pop roots to find top talent around the world that can take on the likes of Mark Ronson, 36, and David Guetta, 44.
Cowell has teamed up with Smith, 40, and Miguel Melendez from her husband Will Smith's media firm Overbrook Entertainment to launch a worldwide TV search for a new DJ star, the Daily Star reported.
The show, which has been in the pipeline for a year, will be broadcast in both UK and US.
"DJs are the new rock stars - it feels like the right time to make this show," Cowell said.
"We will comb the world to find a new breed of talent," Smith added. (ANI)
