Kiwi woman auctions tattoo space on her butt

Melbourne, Jan 20 (ANI): In a bizarre incident, a woman in New Zealand has successfully auctioned tattoo space on her backside.

A strip club in Auckland made a 12,000-dollar winning bid for tattoo space on the bottom of Tina Beznec who attracted international headlines with her posterior proposal.

According to Stuff.co.nz, the cheeky idea to raise cash was the creation of 23-year-old Beznec, who lost her job twice in the past year and has been unemployed for four months.

Beznec, who already has a series of tattoos, including a female pirate - put her rear end panel up for auction on the website trademe.co.nz, akin to eBay, earlier this month.

"Your tattoo on my bum!" trumpeted the auction page, along with a list of suggestions as to why someone would want to buy a tattoo on a stranger's bottom - including marriage proposal, business promotion and boredom.

There were several restrictions: the tattoo can't be larger than 3.5 by 3.5 inches (9cm by 9cm), will appear on only one side (winner can choose right or left) and will be done at a place of Beznec's choosing, which could probably be on Feburary 4.

Beznec, who lives in Lower Hutt near the national capital Wellington, said on the auction website that she planned to use part of the funds to visit her mother in Australia and would also give 20 percent to a charity of the winning bidder's choice. (ANI)
