London, Jan 19 (ANI): Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki has said that she can learn from boyfriend Rory McIlroy's mental approach on her way to Australian Open glory.
World No.1 Wozza overcame a late fightback to progress to the third round.
The Dane made quick work of the first set against Georgia's Anna Tatishvili, but had to come from 4-1 down to complete a 6-1, 7-6 win.
Wozniacki, 21, believes parallels can be drawn between her sport and McIlroy's.
"(In golf) you can't really do anything about the past, you just need to look forward," the Sun quoted her as saying.
"You have a tournament now and you want to do your best.
"If it goes well then great, if not you have the next one.
"It's like tennis, it's important not to dwell too much in the past," she added. (ANI)
