Washington, Jan 19 (ANI): Zooey Deschanel has revealed that she was bullied throughout her school days and claims fellow students would even spit in her face.
The 'New Girl' star tells the February issue of Allure that students were so mean to her that she would end up crying every day.
"Girls spit in my face, people were so mean to me, I'd cry every day," Fox News quoted her as saying.
Even today, the 32-year-old 'it' girl says she avoids gossip websites like Gawker.
"I actually think the writing is really funny, but there is a chance that somebody is undercutting me," she added. (ANI)
