The Pentax has announced to launch of its 8-mega pixel Optio Z10 digital camera in Indian market for the Indian consumers with the collaboration of IDLDPL (India Digital Life Style Distributors Pvt. Ltd.).
The Z10 camera is endowed with high-magnification 7X optical zoom lens offers 8 mega pixels high-resolution images. However, Pentax claims that Optio Z10 can offer ultra-high magnification up to 35x with digital zoom.
Auto focus and auto exposure are the latest features that separate it from its rival competitors. Besides Optio Z10 offers features like shake reduction to prevent blurring of images, face recognition feature with high speed detection at just 0.03 seconds and a refractions lens system that does not allow the lens to overhang while zooming.
Moreover the maximum sensitivity of ISO 3200 helps the camera to match with the brightness of the subjects means it enables photography with fast shutter speeds.
The model is boasted with 52 MB in-built memory card. Moreover additional SD cards can be added. It also supports SDHC media cards and 1GB card can store up to 250 high-resolution images.
A battery charger, wrist strap, USB cable, and AV cable are added stuff with it. It also boasts of 2.5 inch LCD monitor that support the users with wide viewing angle of 170 degrees from all directions.
In addition Digital wide function, Mode palette (provide quick access to 15 shooting modes and 15 playback modes), Data imprint function for easier image categorisation and Foto Nations red eye compensation function for flash shots are key features of Optio Z10 that woos the consumers to buy it.
Various Auto Picture modes such as Landscape, Portrait, Night Scene, and Normal modes, makes it possible for the user to select the optimal settings for each subject.
The higher price of Optio Z10 is only one feature that can be said negative. In comparison to US where it is available in just Rs 8000, while in India its cost is quite high and available for Rs. 20990 in the Indian market and is being sold by the IDLDPL (India Digital Life Style Distributors Private Limited). It would be cheap if ordered from some online store.
Assistant vice president sales, IDLDPL Surinder Saini says that camera offers a unique photography experience to the users in terms of premium picture quality.
