London, Apr 14 (ANI): Alexandra Burke is one brave woman, for she has deified Simon Cowell and has bought herself a puppy despite his disapproval.
The 'Bad Boys' singer has been desperate for a pet pooch but the music mogul told her to concentrate on her career.
However, the singer couldn't fight her feelings for miniature terrier Alfie.
"Alex resisted getting a pooch for ages but it was love at first sight," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
"She broke the news to Si over the phone and was really nervous she was going to get the hair-drier treatment.
"But Simon is an animal lover so he saw the funny side and joked that she was a naughty girl, but would be forgiven," added the insider. (ANI)
